Reliability Curves in Extended Warranty Space
We take a look at the application of reliability analytics and theory to an extended warranty operation in practice. This includes the management of very large data sets, building models of failure rates, the detection of bad products, and finally, the construction of cost estimates needed for assessing adequate insurance coverage and/or the level of self-insurance.
